Residenz Zwieselstein
'Residenz Zwieselstein' is a select, luxury complex of 12 apartments spread on 5 levels with fantastic views of the mountains. Chalet Burns and Chalet Jamson are both located on the 1st floor providing panoramic Mountain views from the balconies. Both apartments are furnished to a very high standard including all mod cons such as flat screen TVs and fully fitted kitchens. The apartments are adjacent to each other and share a balcony making them ideal either on their own or together and can cater for up to 2 large families (8-12 people).
The complex is situated in the alpine village of Zwieselstein (1.472 m), in the Ötztal Valley, arguably the prettiest in the Tirol. ‘Residenz Zwieselstein’ is 3km to the South of Sölden in the heart of the Ötztal Alps, 1.5 miles from the lifts and less than 200m away from the ski bus stop to Sölden and Obergurgl. With its small chapel dating back to 1747 the village is characteristically Tyrolean, dominated by 600 mountain peaks of which 174 are over 3,000 m. The village and the valley offer a unique combination of stunning natural landscapes, warm hospitality and authentic tradition. The raw beauty and picture postcard surroundings contrast with the impressive infrastructure and facilities available to visitors.

Glacier skiing in Sölden
Sölden is certainly one of the top 5 international ski resorts in Austria. The town itself stretches for more than 2km along the valley floor with traditional Tyrolean-style buildings situated on both sides of the river and along the main road. It is a vibrant resort with a great atmosphere. With more runs than Chamonix and Kitzbühel, Sölden has a lot to offer. The annual opening World Cup Ski race is hosted on the Rettenbach glacier every October.

1,800m – 3,080m (6,300ft – 10,000ft) Lying at the top of the Ötztal valley, the picturesque and scenic village of Obergurgl is in the enviable position of having sufficient snow to satisfy its early skiers. Essentially a skiers’ village, Obergurgl has the added advantage of a lengthy winter season as well as being a short drive from the Rettenbach glacier above Sölden.
